Airbrush Course with Mickey Harris

A full one day course covering everything from the basics of airbrushing to more advanced techniques.

Beginning Airbrush

This section will get you started the right way.  You will learn exercises that teach you proper freehand airbrush control.  You will learn about shadow and highlight and how to create dimension. You will learn stippling, carving and beveling. .  You will also do a class project on metal that you will take home with you for further reference and to impress your friends.   You will get a special bonus, learning to render water drops. This class is fun and informative and will give you the fundamentals to continue your airbrush education in the right direction.

Advanced Tricks

This class will show you some of the tricks and cool techniques that pros use to help speed up their production and to render particular effects. Things like different texturing techniques to create accurate looking effects quickly.   You will learn how to use other tools with your airbrush as well.  You will learn about hard and soft edges and how important they are to an image’s believe-ability.  You will also be able to ask how to render things you have had difficulty with and we will help you achieve your goals, by showing you our techniques. You will have the opportunity to tap into Mickey’s 36 years of airbrushing experience.
